Our Dentists

Dr. Hamann is a compassionate and gentle dentist who has been providing exceptional dental care since earning her DMD degree from Midwestern University in 2015. After practicing general dentistry outside of Columbus, she joined her mother-in-law, Dr. Beth Hamann, at Agave Dental in 2018.

Dr. Hamann is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized and comprehensive dental care. She values building lasting relationships with her patients and creating a comfortable environment where they feel heard, educated, and empowered in their oral health journey.

Her approach combines whole-body wellness with modern dentistry, allowing her to provide care that supports both function and aesthetics. Patient education remains a cornerstone of her philosophy, helping patients feel confident in preventing cavities and protecting their long-term dental health. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of dentistry, Dr. Hamann has completed advanced training through Spear Education and CDOCS, focusing on digital dentistry and CEREC technology. She has extensive experience in Invisalign Clear Aligner therapy, completing courses through Clearly Aligned and participating in the Clearly Next Level program.

She is also passionate about airway-focused dentistry, having completed the A.I.R. Institute mini residency and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Mastery Program. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Hamann is committed to helping patients find effective solutions for sleep apnea, snoring, and bruxism while improving their overall quality of life. She also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and helping patients feel more confident in their smiles.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hamann enjoys spending time with her husband and their three sons. She loves hiking throughout Arizona, visiting extended family in Michigan, staying active, and attending live music events.

Dr. Abbott grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has always been passionate about helping others through compassionate, personalized care.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Illinois, where she was also a member of the Varsity Swim and Dive Team. Dr. Abbott graduated from the prestigious University of Michigan School of Dentistry before completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Florida.

Dr. Abbott enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but she values building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their care most. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve healthy, lasting smiles. Her gentle approach and dedication to patient-centered care allow her to connect with patients of all ages.

Outside the office, Dr. Abbott enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and son. She loves trying new restaurants, attending sporting events, and cheering on her favorite hometown teams, including the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears, while also embracing and supporting the local teams in her new community.

Dr. Igor Borisov is a comprehensive oral implantologist, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, educator, mentor, and lecturer with a focus on advanced implant surgery, full arch rehabilitation, soft tissue management, and digital treatment workflows. Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Arizona and completed his residency training at Jacksonville University. He currently serves as a Surgical Director, where he helps train and mentor clinicians in advanced implant procedures and full arch reconstruction. His clinical practice focuses on implant placement, immediate loading, full arch fixed prostheses, sinus augmentation, guided bone regeneration, and remote anchorage techniques, including pterygoid and zygomatic implants. By integrating photogrammetry, intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM technology, and 3D printing into his workflow, Dr. Borisov delivers efficient, prosthetically driven treatment with a strong emphasis on precision and long term success. In addition to patient care, Dr. Borisov lectures and mentors nationally and internationally on contemporary implant techniques, digital workflows, and advanced surgical concepts. Dr. Borisov remains dedicated to advancing the field of implant dentistry through clinical excellence, education, and the adoption of emerging technologies, with the goal of providing predictable, life changing outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Beth Hamann is the founder of Agave Dental and Agave Sleep and Wellness. After more than 30 years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Hamann is now focused exclusively on her passion for assisting those with sleep disorders.
